Why the court wants it
Under Article 45.0511 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, when you complete the course you must present the court with “a copy of the defendant’s driving record” showing you haven’t completed a driving safety course in the 12 months before the offense. Problems and fixes
- “Record not found” or the portal rejects you. Usually the audit number. Newer licenses print it on the back; make sure you’re not entering the license number twice.
