Ticket Dismissal HQ is reader-supported. When you enroll in a course through a link on this site, we may earn a commission from the provider. It costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same as if you went to the provider directly.
How it works
We participate in affiliate programs run by online driving course providers, including DefensiveDriving.com (through CJ Affiliate) and others we name in our reviews. Links to those providers are marked, go through our own /go/ redirect so we can count clicks, and carry a rel="sponsored" attribute as required by Google and the FTC.
What it doesn’t change
- Our recommendations. We rank courses on state approval, price, certificate delivery, and guarantee terms. A provider can’t buy a higher rating, and we recommend providers we have no affiliate relationship with when they’re the better choice.
- The facts. Statutory rules, fees and deadlines come from the law and the agencies, not from providers.
- Your price. Affiliate links never add to what you pay. In Texas the course price is fixed by law at a $25 minimum regardless of how you arrive at the provider’s site.
FTC compliance
This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR Part 255, “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.” Every page containing an affiliate link also carries a short disclosure next to the link.
